Grundfos first-to-market with prefabricated pumping

station solutions in China

Grundfos has now launched the company’s prefabricated pumping station (PPS) concept in China. The first installations have already been completed with success and further orders are on the way.

格蘭富日前在中國發布了預制泵站（PPS）的概念。目前，首臺PPS裝置已經完成安裝并已成功投入運行，格蘭富正在源源不斷接收后續訂單。

Grundfos is the first company to supply pre-engineered PPS solutions for wastewater infrastructure projects in China. The Chinese wastewater market is focusing on increasing connectivity to wastewater treatment plants. This generates a huge potential for Grundfos with the PPS concept, which solves a number of typical problems for wastewater installations.

A pre-engineered solution that solves problems

Installing wastewater pumping stations locally and ensuring connectivity to wastewater treatment plants provides many challenges in densely populated areas where space is limited. Furthermore, local conditions, such as groundwater levels and other infrastructure projects all complicate matters further.

The Grundfos PPS concept is a pre-engineered solution using a range of standard components that can be put together in a manner that best serves the application. Delivered onsite with all fittings preinstalled, the installation and commissioning process is simple and effective and can be completed in couple of days. Once installed, the many years’ experience Grundfos brings to designing pumping stations ensures fully optimised operation from day one.

The PPS concept from Grundfos

Grundfos offers a full range of functional modular pumping stations – complete with all necessary pumps, piping, valves and level controls. The pump pit, pumps and controls can be combined to suit specific requirements for each individual application.

格蘭富提供全系列的功能化模塊泵站-完整配備有必需的水泵，管路，閥門以及水位控制器。泵坑設計，水泵以及控制器的合理組合為特定的應用提供合理的解決途徑。

The tank is available in a variety of sizes and heights, and depending on the selected pump, applications can be for drainage, effluent, stormwater and wastewater. The PPS tanks for China are made from durable Glass Reinforced Plastic (GRP). All pre-installed piping is stainless steel. As standard, the pumping stations are supplied with a GRP top cover.

The Grundfos PPS concept consists of a complete pumping station package built from high quality corrosion-free materials that offers easy and fast installation. The sturdy construction is environmentally friendly with no leakage, and the design of the pit sump limits sludge and odour problems. The possibility of remote monitoring and control for unattended operation completes the package.

Grundfos has already proven that the company’s PPS concept matches the demands of the Chinese wastewater market and is responsive to the huge potential of this market.

“Not only have we already completed several installations on time and within budget, we have already nine further PPS installations due for delivery before the end of May.
